As we embark on a new journey to discover the treasures within our own backyard, we are graced with a momentous occasion that will inspire and uplift our community. The revered relic of St. Jude, the patron saint of hope and impossible causes, is set to visit Orange County, California, bringing with it a message of faith and perseverance.
A Journey of Discovery in Orange County:
Orange County, a tapestry of 34 cities, each with its own story and significance, invites us to explore and appreciate the wonders close to home. This visit from St. Jude’s relic marks the beginning of a profound exploration of our surroundings, encouraging us to uncover the historical gems and cultural richness that lie within our reach.
Veneration of St. Jude’s Relic:
From April 29 through May 2, 2024, the faithful will have the rare opportunity to venerate the relic of St. Jude1. This sacred artifact, a piece of bone from St. Jude’s arm, serves as a tangible connection to the saint known for interceding in the most desperate of causes. The relic will be available for veneration at select locations across the Diocese of Orange, offering a chance for personal reflection and spiritual growth.
